I am graduated from the Haramaya university with great distinction, CGPA=3.88 and awarded
certificate of best academic achievement in 2013 among second year of rural development and
agricultural extension and awarded certificate of successful completion on survey of house hold
food insecurity with students from Nebraska university.
From January 08/2016-August 25/2019 I was employed at Oromia Agricultura research
Institute. I am employed as junior researcher of agricultural extension and latter
upgraded to assistant researcher I. during my stay at Haro Sebu agricultural research
center I had successfully developed and conducted research on demonstration and pre
scaling up of agricultural technologies to farmers and I had worked with farmers
intensively to incorporate their feedback in to agricultural research. Beside my
responsibility I was assigned as coordinator of socio economics and agricultural
extension research director and focal person of gender and HIV in which I coordinate
fruitful work during my stay of 3.7 years at the center.
Research topic of my thesis in CAU:
Chemical Phosphorus fertilizer uses in maize production of Africa and China and its
implication for high phosphorus use efficiency.
What I did in Quzhou Experiment Station?

Achievement 1. The basic agronomic practice of maize production specifically focusing on the
effect of P fertilizer on maize yield based on field and pot experiment. That is
how to manage P fertilizer for high efficiency and high yield maize production.
2. Optimizing the amount of P fertilizer and the type of P fertilizer could increase
PUE, which leads to more efficient production and environmental safety.
3. The practical performance of science and technology backyard in Quzhou
county. I experienced how the STB contributed for agricultural technologies
advancement and ensured sustainable production.
4. Comprehensive quality improvement on organizing and managing reports.
