Bachelor of Science in Agriculture General – Sokoine University of Agriculture- Tanzania
Over past five (5) years, I have been working with Tanzania Smallholders Tea Development Agency (TSHTDA). TSHTDA is a reputable agency commissioned to serve tea smallholders and operate directly under the Ministry of Agriculture. My main duties at TSHTDA includes;
Teaching tea farmers Good Agronomic Practices (GAPs)
Act as a bridge between tea research and tea production.
Linking tea farmers with other key subsector stakeholders
Research topic of your thesis:
The influence tillage, straws and nitrogen in maize production in North China Plans.
What I have done in Quzhou Experiment Station:
i. Defending my research proposal
ii. Learning sustainable crop production
iii. Practice field crop production – grains and horticultural crops
iv. I have learned agronomic research skills
v. Gained practical report writing skills and communication
vi. I have actively participated in various cultural and academic exchange activities with other international and Chinese students and teachers.
